Job Title : Labourer

Location : Whitehorse, YT

Job Type : Full-Time min. 3 month Term

Available Immediately :

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team as we relocate our vehicle rental business to our new shop. The ideal candidate will assist with the physical aspects of the move and support the end of construction process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

  • site clean-up and yard, shop preparation, material handling, and basic tasks.
  • Help set up the new location, including organizing and arranging equipment and materials.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment during the move.
  • Safely transport vehicles and materials to the new location.
  • Operate hand and power / air tools as needed, on the job training if needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a labourer or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 75 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and your own transportation to get to work
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in a workshop environment.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a moving or construction setting.
