Position Title: Labourer

Position Overview

ACSI is seeking experienced labourers to join our industrial team to support project requirements. A strong focus on safety and a commitment to a zero‑injury culture are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean up work sites.
• Move materials and equipment; perform demolition, excavation, compaction activities, and remove rubble and debris.
• Handle and distribute materials (load, unload supplies, equipment, tools to and from work areas).
• Place, consolidate and protect cast‑in‑place concrete or masonry structures (e.g., shovel cement, mix and pour concrete; use electric and pneumatic vibrators).
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

• WHMIS 2015 certification
• Fall protection/working at heights – In Class
• Experience as a labourer in an industrial construction environment
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting
• Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25 kg
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
• Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
