  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and propane systems.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.
  • Experience with hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
  • Knowledge and experience with industrial equipment that includes lifting/rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
  • Exposure to aligning equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.
  • Strong time-management skills to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, showing an appreciation of customer needs.
  • Trade qualification (Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Automotive, Truck/Transport) considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A commitment to high quality customer service with a strong people orientation.

Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting in the heavy equipment service department.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Detailing heavy equipment once the repairs have been completed
