Job Description

The Labourer is required to perform tasks involving physical labour at commercial construction projects, and to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in formwork is preferred.
• Experience working with ceilings and roof framing at heights of up to 60 ft, or the ability to work comfortably at heights of up to 60 ft.
• Willingness to commute outside of Calgary, including surrounding areas such as Cochrane, Canmore, High River, and Rockview, may be necessary. Work will be conducted in all weather conditions.
• Safety Certificates including Fall Protection, & Mobile Elevated Work Platform or Aerial Work Platform are considered an asset.
• Must be able to complete a fit for work assessment
• Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
• Construction labour experience preferred
• Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract preferred
