Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in Ajax, ON is seeking a Labourer to join our dismantling and recycling team. You will handle vehicle parts, use hand and power tools, and help prepare vehicles for resale in a fast-paced outdoor yard.

We offer a starting wage of $20/hr with a semi-annual bonus up to 3.75%, full-time permanent employment, tuition assistance, vacation, benefits, RRSP matching, 24/7 virtual health care, boot voucher, and exclusive employee discounts across Kenny U-Pull yards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a general labour or similar role.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and depolluting vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools.
• Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard.
• Dismounting wheels, rims and tires.
• Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale.
• Sorting and organizing salvaged parts for inventory.
• Maintaining a clean and organized yard and work environment.
