Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Labourer for a part-time position offering 16‑24 hours per week with weekend availability. You will assist in dismantling and recycling vehicles and support daily yard operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include organizing vehicle rows, maintaining yard safety, and handling tires and rims. Outdoor work in varying weather is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a general labour or similar role.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Position vehicles in the yard each morning according to the site plan.
• Keep vehicle rows neat, safe, and accessible for customers.
• Walk the yard to collect debris, tools, and parts from the ground.
• Remove and inspect used tires from vehicles in the yard.
• Safely remove tires from rims using hand tools or machinery.
• Inspect, sort, and separate rims for resale or scrap recycling.
• Stack and store rims and tires in designated areas.

Job Description

This is a part time position that requires 16-24 hours/week and availability to work on weekends.

As aLabourer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the dismantling and recycling process of vehicles. • Regularly walking the yard to pick up loose debris, tools, and parts from the ground
• Removing and inspecting used tires from vehicles in the yard
• Safely removing tires from rims using hand tools or machinery
• Inspecting, sorting, and separating rims for resale or scrap recycling
• Stacking, organizing, and storing rims and tires in designated areas

Qualifications

• You have previous experience in a general labour or similar role
• You have physical stamina and are able to lift 50lbs
• You are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Youare reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business
