A health-care union is seeking a Negotiation Team member to handle interest arbitrations and advocate for member rights. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Industrial Labour Relations or an LL.B, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Labour Relations. The role entails coordinating arbitrations and representing the organization in various matters, ensuring the rights of members are upheld.

As a member of the Negotiation Team this role acts as an organizational resource and specialist on the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act (HLDAA) and interest arbitration in the Hospital Long Term Care Homes and Community Sector. This position will be a resource to All Sector Strategic Bargaining Project Team (ASSBPT) ONAs Central Bargaining Project Teams and our Regional Teams.
The incumbent is accountable for guiding and supporting the needs of our members and will ensure the individual and collective rights of members are achieved and maintained.
