About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedLegal Administrative Assistantto join the firm’sLabour and Employment practice group. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in both independent and collaborative work settings.

About the Position
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Labour and Employment team by managing legal documents, coordinating schedules, and assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks.

The Responsibilities

  • Drafting, editing, and transcribing legal documents and general correspondence
  • Coordinating court bookings, hearings, mediations, discoveries, and client meetings
  • Managing legal files, maintaining filing systems, and updating legal binders
  • Organizing and tracking deadlines using a bring-forward system
  • Handling open and closed file maintenance
  • Liaising with Billing Coordinators for monthly account production
  • Providing general administrative support and assisting with other duties as required

The Requirements

  • A certificate or diploma from an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting a Litigation or Labour & Employment practice
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; experience with Elite 3E is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong understanding of litigation procedures and confidentiality requirements

Compensation & Benefits
The firm offers acompetitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
