Job description

This is a union position located at our Thorhild landfill.

Starting Wage: $22.82hourly

Mondays – Fridays: 40hrs/week

(8:30 – 4:30)

Saturdays, as required; On Saturdays all hours worked are paid at OT rate; On weekdays anything over 8hrs is OT

I. Job Summary

Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Performs general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to,
  • lifting and moving materials,
  • loading and unloading vehicles,
  • digging and refilling holes,
  • and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.
• Conducts other duties and tasks as assigned.

Experience: No prior work experience required.
