Responsibilities

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious, hard-working laborer to join our team at our quarry in Leola. We promote from within, provide great benefits, and treat our employees like family.

This position involves heavy physical duties that are generally unskilled or semi-skilled. Duties vary depending on the work assigned. The Laborer will receive training on plant functions and maintenance, and is expected to perform daily housekeeping of equipment and work areas. Cutting and welding experience is a plus but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing a variety of tasks to support maintenance at the quarry
• Lifting, carrying, and holding building materials, tools, and supplies
• Cleaning tools, materials, and work areas
• Operating equipment such as skid steer, water truck, stand-on loader, and haul truck (training provided)

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites
• GED/High School diploma or related work experience
• Trade School education is a plus
• Valid Driver's License required
• Cutting and welding experience is a plus but not required
