Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines.
  • Conduct tests in accordance with prevailing standards and procedures.
  • Examine samples provided and document any discrepancies in the test report.
  • Ensure samples are properly registered in the relevant records.
  • Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated regularly.
  • Participate in activities related to the quality system.
Requirements
  • Pursuing post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related technical field.
  • Technical knowledge of aggregate use in road building, concrete, and asphalt production is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
  • G Licence.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
