Summary:
AGAT Laboratories is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician C in our Edmontonfacility.This position is an entry level role where one can gain career experience in a laboratory with direction from the Laboratory Coordinator and other Laboratory team members for organics sample preparation and extraction. The successful candidate will assist with administrative and basic laboratory activities.
Duties:

  • Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions
  • Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal
  • Operate instruments, with guidance from senior staff perform maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting
  • Perform basic analysis
  • Report results
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment: This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
