Job summary

AGAT Laboratories is seeking Seasonal Laboratory Technicians to join the Thunder Bay team. This entry-level role supports the Laboratory Supervisor with sample preparation, instrument calibration, data reporting and quality control tasks.

The four day on, four day off rotation may include night shifts, and the assignment ends May 1, 2027. You should have a degree or diploma in science, 0-2 years lab experience, strong attention to detail, and solid computer skills.

• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample, reagent and calibration preparation as directed.
• Calibrate, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance on all assigned laboratory instruments.
• Compile, verify and validate accurate data records.
• Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications.
• Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report results.
• Other duties as assigned.
