Your Contribution

As a Laboratory Technician, you will collaborate with the Materials team. Your main responsibilities include:

• Applying and promoting health and safety rules;
• Conducting laboratory tests such as compressive strength, soil and aggregate gradation, plasticity, soil density, asphalt extraction, and equipment calibration according to CCIL standards;
• Communicating effectively with clients, supervisors, and technicians;
• Maintaining accurate sample logs and recording test data;
• Preparing reports, data sheets, and graphs;
• Maintaining calibration and certification records;
• Participating in accreditation programs;
• Recommending safety improvements.

Your Profile

• Technical Diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering;
• Experience in soil, aggregate, asphalt testing, or related fields;
• Over 2 years in highway materials testing and inspection;
• CSA, CCIL, or ACI certification is an asset;
• Ability to handle samples up to 25kg;
• Interest in occupational health and safety.
