Be our next Laboratory Technician!

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Testing group in our London, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you:

1. Carrying out aggregate, asphalt, soil and concrete tests within our Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories;
2. Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
3. Assisting management team in laboratory certification, and record keeping;
4. Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;
5. Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.

What Your Experience Looks Like:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete testing Laboratory;
2. Possess a current CCIL/CSA Certification for concrete (field and laboratory) an asset;
3. Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates/Asphalt/Soils an asset;
4. Knowledge in Physical Properties and Petrographic Number determinations an asset;
5. Experience with Marshall and Superpave testing;
6. Strong focus on Health and Safety;
7. Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
8. Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
9. Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
10. Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
11. Proficiency with the Windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
12. Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently.
