Access to reliable personal transportation is required as some of the possible work sites do not have access to public transportation. This position works rotating shifts at St. Albert PSC between 0700-1915 hours and Tudor Glen PSC between 0800-1630. Includes every third Saturday and Sunday at St. Albert PSC between 0700-1530.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.
At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience. ECG experience.
