Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs in High River is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to deliver high-quality service in a clinical laboratory. You will perform procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens in an efficient, safe manner.

The role requires completing an accredited MLA program, with recent phlebotomy experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office; Epic Beaker is an asset. This is a 0.80 FTE, temporary part-time position with a mid-range salary.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Recent Experience within the Last 2 Years Performing Phlebotomy. Recent Training within the past 2 years will be considered.Experience using Microsoft Office and Windows.
• 1 Year or more Experience working in Epic Beaker is an Asset.1 Year or more Experience Collecting Neonates is an Asset.

Required Qualifications:
