You have good judgment and decision-making skills and will conduct yourself according to the Alberta Health Services Code of Conduct and the APL Values of Kindness, Inclusion, Innovation, Agility, and Accuracy. Access to reliable personal transportation is required as some of the possible work sites do not have access to public transportation. Please note that this position is Monday/Thursday/Friday 0900-1500 and Tuesday/Wednesday 0915-1500. Every third Sunday at Heritage PSC from 0900-1500 hours.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high-quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching, testing of specimens, performing procedures, and reporting results.
