This individual will be required to follow lab processes and procedures, perform venipuncture, ECGs on registered outpatients and community patients, monitor wait times to ensure we are providing best service to our patients. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.
At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience. ECG experience.
