A leading medical laboratory services provider is seeking a Laboratory Assistant in Regional District of Nanaimo. You will play a crucial role in patient care by performing specimen collection and ensuring proper data entry. The ideal candidate will have a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient confidentiality. As a Laboratory Assistant you will be responsible for the specimen collection process, from greeting patients through to preparation of specimens for transportation. This is an important role in patient care and our business and will let you see the difference that you make in patients’ lives.
Status: Full Time Regular
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 7:15AM - 6:15PM and Saturday 7:15AM - 3:45PM
Additional requirements: Must be available Tues through Sat all hours and have their own means of reliable transportation. This role is a float position between Parksville and Qualicum Beach
