This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor Relations Specialist located in Thunder Bay, ON at Lakehead University. The Labor Relations Specialist will be responsible for handling all aspects of labor relations, including negotiations, contract administration, and conflict resolution. They will work closely with management and labor unions to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Experience in labor negotiations and contract administration
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
• Previous experience in higher education or public sector labor relations is a plus
