Job Opportunity: Maternity / L&D Registered Nurse – Multiple Locations in BC

Locations:

Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Maternity / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses to join healthcare teams across various facilities in British Columbia. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the childbirth process, including labor, delivery, and postpartum support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Labor & Delivery Care: Provide comprehensive care during all stages of labor and delivery.
  • Postpartum Support: Monitor and support mothers and newborns post-delivery.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to obstetric emergencies with appropriate interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Education: Educate mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and outcomes.
  • Safety & Quality: Adhere to best practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Active RN license in British Columbia.
  • Certifications Required:
  • Perinatal Nursing Certificate
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $61.00–$65.00 per hour

Additional Pay: Overtime pay

Schedule Options: 12-hour Day and Night shifts
