Job Summary

As a Labelling Clerk for our Sample Processing team located in Senneville, you will mainly be responsible for sample preparation, retrieving all specimens and transport them in a timely manner to the laboratory. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepares the required material for the study conduct according to information received and keep a functional inventory of the required material;
  • Conduct the preparation and the distribution of biological samples;
  • Perform the filing, archiving, transfer, or disposal of material;
  • Printing and labelling of samples (blood, urine, etc.);
  • Retrieving and transportation of collected samples to the appropriate laboratory.
Key Elements

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Passion for science;
  • Good attention to details;
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).
Role Specific Information:
  • Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transport: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary: $16.75/hrs;
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Premiums: Weekends: ($2.75/hrs), Overtime (Time and a half);
  • Schedule: Weekdays, between Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
