Holcim is planning to spin off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America’s oversized growth in construction led by infrastructure modernization, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operations, and the growth of resilient cities.

Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its headquarters in the US to serve the North American market and pursue regional growth strategies.

The newly listed company aims to become North America’s leading building solutions provider, with an industry-leading market position to meet customer ambitions with advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct visual inspections of reserve stacks and loading faces, and advise the lab technician of any issues such as segregation, contamination, or equipment problems.
  2. Follow sampling frequencies as indicated in the Quality Plan for qualitative monitoring during production and delivery.
  3. Perform quality control tests on aggregates (grain size, LA, micro Deval, etc.) and asphalt (bitumen extraction, grain size, density, etc.) according to standards and record results appropriately.
  4. Report any non-compliance to the lab technician.
  5. Clean the lab daily and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  6. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

Experience and Skills

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  3. Fluent in French (spoken and written).
  4. Valid driver’s license (Class 5).
