Marwood Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Colour Technician at our Edmundston facility in New Brunswick. This full-time position focuses on quality control, color matching, and precise sample preparation in our coatings department.

Key responsibilities include preparing samples and brushouts, performing DFT measurements, formulating color matches, managing paint inventory, and careful handling of respirator-required tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong color perception and visual awareness.
• Experience with precision measurement tools or microscopy is an asset.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including wearing a respirator.
• Reliable work ethic with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for coordinating shipments.

Responsibilities

Marwood Ltd. a specialty manufacturer of value-added forest products is currently looking for a detail-oriented Colour Technician at our Cape Cod Siding facility in Edmundston, New Brunswick. This full-time role focuses on quality control, color matching, and precise sample preparation in our advanced coatings department.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Preparation: Paint and ship brushouts to clients.
• Quality Control: Take Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements using a microscope.
• Color Formulation: Create accurate custom color matches based on specifications.
• Inventory Management: Safely dispense paint and coatings for production.
• Specialized Application: Paint nails for customer orders (requires wearing a respirator).
