Dynacare in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Float) to obtain quality blood samples and perform tests in a patient-focused environment. This part-time, contract role supports multiple locations and requires strong phlebotomy skills, accuracy in data entry, and excellent customer service.
As part of a collaborative team, you will handle venipuncture, specimen collection, and data recording while adhering to SOPs and privacy standards.

As a Laboratory Assistant (Float), you are responsible for obtaining quality blood samples and other specimens from patients, as well as conducting other patient tests, all in keeping with Dynacare's mission and values. Working as part of a team, you are assisting in building a positive team environment and maintaining quality metrics. You also play an important role in providing customer service to create the best possible patient experience. These can be stressful situations for patients, and you need to display empathy, care, and kindness.
Status: Contract, Part-Time, 6 months (Guaranteed 24 hours a week)
Shift: Day Shifts, varies between 6:30 am - 5:30 pm; Monday - Saturday
Float Locations: Kitchener, Niagara Falls, Hamilton and Burlington, ON

The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
