Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Strathroy, Ontario is seeking a Lab Analyst to join our scientific team. You will coordinate and perform laboratory activities, including analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples, to support pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing.

Qualified candidates will have a college diploma in chemistry or related field (Bachelor's preferred) and 2+ years of lab experience.

Qualifications

College diploma in Chemistry or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience as a lab analyst is preferred.
Experience in a pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples using instrumental and wet chemistry methods.
Train, advise, and assist laboratory personnel on methods, procedures, and tests.
Maintain adequate levels of laboratory supplies.
Calibrate and maintain instruments according to SOPs.
Comply with SOPs and GMPs at all times.
Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment, including cleaning, glassware washing, and waste disposal.
Work extended hours (overtime) when problems occur or deadlines must be met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
