Principal Software Technologist – L1-Platform Development

What you’ll achieveAs a Principal Software Technologist, you will design, develop, and integrate firmware and host drivers for L1-Platform components; optimize and enhance Linux kernel functionality for seamless hardware integration and work closely with hardware teams to ensure efficient communication between software and hardware layers.
You will:
Utilize DPDK libraries for high-performance packet processing
Implement and maintain PTP (Precision Time Protocol) for synchronization across networked systems
Conduct performance analysis and debugging of low-level software components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements
Contribute technical expertise and insights to improve development processes and solutions
10+ years of experience in C/C++ programming for embedded and system-level software
Strong expertise in Linux kernel development and low-layer hardware integration, excellent problem-solving abilities
Hands-on experience with DPDK libraries for high-speed networking applications
Familiarity with PTP protocols for time synchronization,
Deep understanding of firmware development, device drivers, and real-time systems, strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Desirable Requirements
Experience with networking protocols and high-performance computing
Knowledge of multi-threading, memory management, and system architecture
