Responsibilities

• Administer medications
• Conduct specimen collection

• Prepare patients for procedures by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas
• Record medication observations in patient files (therapeutic and side effects)
• Monitor respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
• Provide safety and health education to individuals and families

• Monitor patient progress, evaluate interventions, and consult with healthcare team
