This role involves troubleshooting, technical content creation, and deployment management. Qualifications

  • 5+ years in systems engineering or similar.
  • 2+ years focused on Kubernetes or cloud-native platforms.

  • Lead customer support engagements ensuring seamless product implementation.
  • Provide in-depth troubleshooting for complex Kubernetes environments.
  • Develop high-quality technical content including Solution Guides and Playbooks.

Provide Client Facing Solutions Engineering and SupportOptimize Stateful Kubernetes & HPC works loads - including AI and GPUs
  • 100% Remote (US or Canada only)
  • Series A Startup
  • Base Salary $210k CAD - $270k CAD (depending on experience) + Equity
Subject Matter Knowledge & Experience:
  • External Client Facing (Technical Support - Solutions Engineering)
  • Kubernetes (Admin - Ops, Integrating into Kubernetes, Tooling)
  • CLI expertise (Bash, Shell, Python, Go)
Key Responsibilities

Support, Troubleshoot, and Optimize Solutions:

  • Lead customer support engagements ensuring seamless product implementation & ongoing stability
  • Provide in-depth troubleshooting for complex Kubernetes environments and configurations
  • Build tooling to automate diagnostics, monitoring, and remediation procedures

Master Cloud-Native Technologies and Services:

  • Maintain deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, operations, and configuration management
  • Understand underlying technologies and infrastructure components to provide comprehensive support
  • Stay current with industry trends to provide innovative, informed guidance and solutions to clients

Technical Content Creation - Documentation - Best Practices:

Develop practical, actionable high-quality technical content including:

  • Solution Guides, Troubleshooting Playbooks, Reusable Sample Code, blog posts
  • Comprehensive documentation for common deployment scenarios and configuration changes
  • Empower clients in overcoming technical challenges
Deployment Management and Configuration:
  • Guide clients through configuration changes and deployment strategies
  • Provide expert advice on IaC implementation and maintenance
  • Support clients with deployment optimization and scaling strategies
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years in systems engineering, software engineering or solution engineer, or similar

Kubernetes

  • 2+ years focused on Kubernetes or cloud-native platforms
  • Knowledge/understanding of Designing, Deploying & Managing AKS, EKS, GKE
Scripting
  • Absolute comfort at the bash prompt
  • IaC expertise (Terraform)
  • Python, Golang scripting proficiency
Other
  • Understanding of Hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey technical solutions effectively to varied stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
