Kosoo Korean Chicken & BBQ is looking for F/T Chef

Position: Chef
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $28.00~$30.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 1
Work Location: 1128 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1B2

Benefits:
10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
5 days of paid sick leave per year

Job Duties:

1. Supervise cooks and kitchen staff
2. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
3. Estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies
4. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
5. Train cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
6. Create menus and new recipes
7. Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staff

Job Requirements:

Language: English
Experience: 2~3 years of experience of commercial cooking are required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
