We are currently seeking Remote Contract Korean Interpreters who are passionate about using their language skills to help people and are committed to their craft.

Contract Responsibilities:

1. Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
2. Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S.
3. Adheres to all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to confidentiality and ethics.
4. Continuously enhances vocabulary and specialized knowledge in fields such as medical, legal, social services, etc.

Requirements:

• Submission of an updated Resume in English at the time of application.
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on the ILR scale).
• Successful completion of a Mock Oral Interpretation session with a passing score against 24 quality standards.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• A full Background Check and Security Screen.
• A signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of interpreting experience.
