Convoy is seeking a Knuckle boom Driver – Class 1/3 at our Surrey, BC location. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, safe loading/unloading, and ensuring compliance with all regulations while supporting customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Class 1/3 CDL with clean driver’s abstract.
• HIAB experience/crane certification required.
• Preferably at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Manual transmission experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of flat deck load securement.
• Physically able to climb ladders, tarp handling, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Load and unload materials.
• Comply with company and government regulations and rules.
• Ensure load securement including corner boards to protect products in transport.
• Match shipments to sales invoices.
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service.
• Operate truck safely.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act.
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements.
