As our Kitchen Suppression Technician, your responsibilities will include installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.

What You'll Do :

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals;
  • Evaluate plans, customer requests, codes, and non-conformance issues to determine solutions and recommendations;
  • Prepare stock materials for work orders and optimize material use;
  • Support take-offs and prepare proposals/quotations;
  • Complete daily reports of work activities;
  • Follow safe work practices and demonstrate safety leadership;
  • Mentor team members including trainees and laborers;
  • Participate in 24/7 emergency call-out services.

Qualifications :

  • Combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Candidates will need to submit a current Certificate of Conduct and Driver's Abstract during hiring
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
