Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Safe Certification is required.
• Standard First Aid + CPR & AED is required.
• Two years of kitchen management or chef experience including budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the effective operation of the kitchen and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, storage, and rotation of supplies.
• Prepare meals for shelter clients and control costs within budget guidelines.
• Ensure dietary restrictions declared by clients are followed and staff are trained.
