Are you someone who enjoys keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes?

Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to support their café operations in Saint John, NB. You'll play a key role in maintaining hygiene, supporting food prep, and helping ensure customers have a positive experience-every time.

• Pay rate : $17-$18 / hour.
• Location : Saint John, NB
• Shifts : Day shift
• Job type : Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities :

Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment.

Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, tables, knives, shelving, and storage areas.

Assist with deep cleaning and daily hygiene practices.

Handle and dispose of waste safely, including breaking down cardboard and managing trash bins.

Restock kitchen supplies and manage rotating inventory.

Assist in basic food preparation and support café operations (including answering phones and processing orders).

Record daily logs and report any maintenance issues to management.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to meet quality standards.

Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Has experience in a kitchen or food prep environment.

Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team.

Can work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks.

Is physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Has a friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
