Duties
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation and food handling, ensuring quality and safety at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service
  • Support serving staff during peak hours by preparing dishes for service
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years experience minimum in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
  • MUST have updated Food Handlers Certificate.
