Reporting to the Kitchen Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for supporting the production of assigned products (BBQ, Sushi, and/or other Cooked Foods) based on received orders, ensuring quality, freshness, inventory, and wastage control.

About T & T Supermarket: Founded in 1993 with two stores in BC, it is now Canada's largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec, with plans for further expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Produce the correct quantity of products (BBQ, Sushi, or other Cooked Foods) based on orders received.
• Perform production duties, including preparing perishable foods such as vegetables, meats, fish, etc., rice cooking, cutting, stir-frying, deep frying, and pan frying.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, inventory levels, and minimize wastage.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety in the production area.
• Assist in answering customer inquiries.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure food safety and safe work procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge in cooking kitchen products, including BBQ, Sushi, or other cooked foods.
• Knowledge of workplace health & safety and food safety (Food Safe Certification required).
• Understanding of relevant tools and equipment.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
