Job summary

Restaurant Souvlaki in Trois-Rivières is seeking an on-site Kitchen Support role to handle dishwashing, basic food preparation and daily cleaning tasks. You will stock, sanitize, and maintain kitchen areas while supporting serving staff during busy periods.

The position requires a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and 2–3 years in similar roles to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 2 years to less than 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Package take-out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
