The Beau Bistro is a cozy, well-loved spot in the heart of Picton, known for its creative menu, local ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere. We’re currently looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook brunch items and other menu dishes to The Beau Bistro’s quality standards

Assist with daily prep work, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients

Ensure timely and efficient service during brunch hours and busy periods

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen station

Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and consistent food quality

  • Take direction from the Kitchen Manager and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements

Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting (brunch experience is an asset)

Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Dependable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

A passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to quality

Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)

Available to start immediately
