Job description
We are looking to hire a hard-working and experienced Kitchen Manager to supervise all food preparation activities and ensure that high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. The Kitchen Manager responsibilities include assisting cooks in preparing entrées, advising our line cooks on suitable portion sizes, and ensuring that food items are stored at the correct temperatures.

To be successful as a kitchen lead, you should be knowledgeable of various cooking techniques and have a passion for food. Ultimately, an exceptional kitchen lead should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing food preparation and cooking
  • Managing kitchen operations
  • Ensuring sanitation and safety standards
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring kitchen staff in a positive environment
  • Managing inventory, portion control and food cost
  • Able to complete administrative tasks and schedules in a timely manner
  • Customer service skills and maintaining good vendor relationships
Kitchen Manager Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years kitchen manager experience.
  • A Serv Safe Manager Certification .
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
  • The ability and willingness to actively participate as a key member of the management team.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
