Job summary

BarBurrito in Surrey, BC is hiring a Kitchen helper to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to start work at the earliest.

The successful candidate will perform basic kitchen tasks, including cleaning, food preparation, and waste disposal, and will join a team working 30–40 hours per week at $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No formal education requirements (no bachelor’s degree, certificate, or diploma).
• Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruits.
• Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
