Coconut Tree Restaurant Ltd. in Edson, AB seeks a reliable Kitchen helper to join our busy team. The role is permanent, full-time, with hourly pay of $16.00 and a 30–40 hour workweek.

You will clean and sanitize the kitchen, receive and store supplies, handle cleaning products, sharpen knives, and assist with floors and food prep. Fluency in English and teamwork are essential. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy loads is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.

• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of handling and storing cleaning products.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
