Job summary

Fresh Tandori Flavor Indian Bistro in Duncan, BC is hiring a Kitchen helper to join our team as a permanent, full-time position offering $29.00 per hour for 30–40 hours weekly. Start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include kitchen cleaning, receiving supplies, trimming vegetables, knife sharpening, and maintaining sanitary work areas. English fluency and a secondary school diploma are required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Handle and store cleaning products properly.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruits.

• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Job Requirements
