Job summary

Mr. Xiao Sushi Inc. in Charlottetown, PE is hiring a full-time permanent Kitchen Helper to support busy kitchen operations.

You will assist with food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, stocking, and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen. Training is provided, with a 40-hour work week at on-site locations and wage of $17.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Will train.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Primary Work Location: 39 Babineau Avenue, Charlottetown, PE C1A 0C9

Secondary Work Location: 9 Kinlock Road, Stratford, PE C1B 1L8

Wage: $17.30 / hour

Work Hours: 40 hours / week

Shifts: Early morning, Morning, On call, Day, Weekend, Overtime required, Overtime available

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Number of Vacancy: 1 vacancy
