Bandra Cafe White Rock Inc in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a kitchen assistant to support dishwashing, food prep, and customer service at the counter and buffet. This on-site role requires attentiveness to cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Responsibilities include sanitizing dishes, stocking refrigerators, packing take-out foods, and assisting with basic food preparation and serving while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Formación

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience in a similar role is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying and replace linen
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Load buspans and trays
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• Place dishes in storage area
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sharpen kitchen knives
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
