Job summary

C&L Cabinets Ltd. in Calgary, AB, is seeking a design-oriented cabinetmaker/designer to craft interiors that meet client needs on site.

This role requires blueprint literacy, collaboration with clients, engineers, and production teams, and a hands-on approach to turning concepts into prototypes. The ideal candidate has college-level training (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of experience, with strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate manufacturing

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
• College/CEGEP or equivalent training accepted.
• On-site role with no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.
• Read blueprint, schemas and drawings.
• Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space.
• Prepare design concepts, sketches or models for approval.
• Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design.
