Lifemark Physiotherapy Carlingwood Mall in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Kinesiologist for a permanent full-time role. The successful candidate will work at our Carlingwood Mall clinic, contributing to a multi-disciplinary team and delivering evidence-based assessments and exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
• University degree in Kinesiology is required.
• 1-5 years of Occupational Rehabilitation experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return-to-work plans with client and employer are documented.

Education

Qualifications:

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an asset
