Job description

Richmond Christian School is hiring for a Kindergarten Teacher to join us starting the 2025-26 school year.

About You

The ideal candidate is a BC certified educator who demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and has experience teaching younger students (Kindergarten). You thrive in a collaborative team environment and have the ability to deliver curriculum content in an innovative manner that fully engages students in learning. The teacher also acts as a personal model to deepen students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview and relationship with God.

About the Position

This is a full-time Kindergarten position that would be working with 3 other Kindergarten teachers. Every Kindergarten teacher also has a full-time Educational Assistant or Classroom Assistant to help with the educational play-based program. Kindergarten class sizes have a maximum of 19 students.

The posted salary range is based on the 2024-25 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2025-26 school year.

Education and Experience

1. BC Teaching Credentials or ability to apply for a Teaching License
2. Demonstrated understanding and application of the Universal Design of Learning
3. Legal authorization to work and teach in BC
