Key job responsibilities

Global Robotics Delivery is seeking an innovative, high-energy and customer-obsessed System Development Engineer to design and develop controls for Supply Chain Planning (SCP) system. The System Development Engineer will design, develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize various automation solutions, while acting as an engineering leader for our internal/external engineering partner teams.

1. Configure and customize the Kinaxis platform to meet the specific requirements of Amazon Robotics' supply chain and operations.
2. Develop and implement complex Kinaxis workflows, business rules, and integrations to automate and optimize supply chain processes.
3. Collaborate with the Kinaxis development team to extend the platform's capabilities through custom applications and extensions to drive continuous enhancements and optimizations.
4. Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure successful Kinaxis implementations and upgrades.
5. Monitor Kinaxis platform performance, identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance system responsiveness, scalability, and reliability.
6. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kinaxis functionality, integrations, and data processing.
7. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into effective Kinaxis solutions.
8. Provide training and support to end-users on the Kinaxis platform, including functionality, workflows, and best practices.
9. Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate user adoption and self-service.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations within the Kinaxis platform.
11. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project sponsors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro hands-on configuration and development experience. Kinaxis integration experience with industry leading ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle EBS). Deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning concepts - Demand Forecasting, Supply planning, SIOP, Inventory Optimization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro Administrator and/or Author certifications.
- Hands-on experience with greenfield Kinaxis implementation
